Position Summary:

As a representative of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, the Marketing & Enrollment Manager will be a fearless advocate for the College and its students – on the phone, in-person and online. The Marketing & Enrollment Manager makes a difference by helping students achieve their goal of obtaining a degree and is responsible for recruiting students.

The Marketing & Enrollment Manager will work diligently in a team-oriented, student-centric environment to provide exceptional student services and meet enrollment goals while embracing the mission and values of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.

Staff Required Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

Faculty Required Education/Experience Skills:
Desired Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related experience preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or communications preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Duty and Responsibility:

• Establish and maintain effective communication with prospective students through marketing, communications and recruiting strategies.

Duty and Responsibility:

• Assist in the development of a new recruiting plan and strategy for the College, including sophisticated recruiting and enrollment plans that vary by program to ensure enrollment targets.

Duty and Responsibility:

• Develop and implement plans and strategies for a variety of communications channels, including but not limited to social media, digital and traditional advertising, the website, newsletters, success stories, press materials, brochures, email campaigns, fact sheets, and videos that are used in marketing to attract prospective students.

• Establish and maintain strong connections with local school counselors and teachers.

• Meet prospective students on campus and conduct campus tours as necessary.

• Continually look for innovative, new ways to improve and expand upon recruitment strategies in conjunction with the executive director and other Student Success staff members to increase inquiries, prospective students, yield/conversion rates and meet enrollment goals.

• Analyze and evaluate strategic and targeted recruitment needs while generating creative and cost-effective ideas to innovate recruitment strategy.

• Coordinate the development of promotional, recruitment, and marketing materials, manage social media, and assist with College-wide initiatives and events.

• Assist in the implementation, management and maintenance of CRM in conjunction with IT staff.

• Identify, attract and present accurate information to prospective students regarding degree requirements and program specific requirements, and financial assistance opportunities available to students.

• Daily monitoring and management of inquiries, prospects, applications, and enrollment goals.

• Coordinate, participate and conduct on campus and off campus recruitment events to enhance the College brand and reputation.

• Collaborate with Department of Institutional Effectiveness to develop and monitor data to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, ROI, forecasting, and operational efficiency.

Duty and Responsibility:

• Collaborate with the Division of Information Technology Services to ensure website traffic and functionality can be tracked, monitored and optimized for prospective student engagement.

Duty and Responsibility:

• Collaborate with and serve as an information resource to faculty, staff and students regarding enrollment.

• Represent the College at college and job fairs, businesses, conferences, and other events deemed relevant to reaching the goals and mission of the College.

• Maintain the master recruitment schedule with all scheduled recruitment events on an ongoing basis.
